There are two common ways to install a black bathroom faucet adapter. The first way is to unscrew the upper rigid copper faucet supply pipe. Next, slide the black plastic connector over the horizontal bar at the bottom of the adapter. The larger hole should be facing up and the smaller one facing down. Place the metal adapter on the cartridge stem. Then, thread the handle screw through the smaller hole in the adapter.
