Arsenal se v 2. kole základní části Evropské ligy podívá až do Běloruska.

Bate se těší slušné formě. V šesti posledních zápasech si připsalo pět výher, což zajistilo běloruskému klubu průběžnou 3. příčku v lize.  Lví podíl na tom měl levý křídelník, Mikhail Gordejchuk, který vsítil 19 gólů. Navíc je Bate neporaženo v posledních 7 domácích zápasech v evropských soutěžích.

Historicky se kluby ještě nikdy nestřetly. Pro Arsenal se jedná vůbec o první střetnutí s týmem z Běloruska. Naši hráči se navíc musí vypořádat s delším cestováním. Obě místa totiž dělí 1 900 km. Dá se očekávat, že Arsene Wenger opět nasadí rotovanou sestavu a pošetří síly klíčových hráčů. I přesto by to měl tým s přehledem zvládnout a potvrdit stoupající formu. COYG!
